The famous tomb of Saint-Gilles, the hermit, is in the crypt
of the 11-12th century church.
Vis
of Saint-Gilles:
The bell tower of the original church houses the finest
example of a spiral staircase. It is in the remains of the Ancien
Choeur
(chancel).
